In the times of online ordering, we always think there is a better (or cheaper) way. When trying to obtain parts for your repair, we only work with approved vendors that we know carry certified parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). We receive Factory Sealed Parts in new, unopened packages. When you purchase parts online, you’re taking a gamble on the quality, age, whether the part has previously been used or rebuilt, and/or the package not being factory sealed. Unfortunately, in those circumstances, we are not able to offer any guarantee for those parts.
Because we cannot guarantee parts that are not obtained through certified parts carriers, we cannot perform work on an appliance, if we do not source the part. We understand how tempting it is to purchase a part and try to install it yourself, but the fact of the matter is, you run the risk of having a faulty part installed or installed incorrectly, making the matter at hand much worse than it originally was.
